Why is it important?

Practitioner research has the power to change teacher practice and efficacy, but also to bring teacher voices and understandings into the theoretical world of research, providing a greater representation in our understanding of practices that are improving outcomes for students.

Perspectives

The research practitioners in this series are bright and passionate about their work. Exploring the ways in which they are engaging in the practitioner research process and building their own sense of efficacy provides an encouraging lens on practices in adolescent and adult literacy practices.
