Why is it important?
The main goals are the historical reconstruction of scientific development of the OWA field, the identification of the dominant direction of knowledge accumulation that emerged since the publication of the first OWA paper, and to discover the most active lines of research
Perspectives
The family of ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operators was first introduced by Yager1 as a tool to deal with the problem of aggregating multicriteria to form an overall decision function. He described it as cumulative operators for membership aggregation.
