What is it about?
Clinicians, educators, researchers, and infant mental health specialists jointly created and tested the Early Relational Health Screen (ERHS), a video-based tool designed to assess the parent-child relationship in children aged 6–24 months.

Why is it important?
Initial testing shows that the ERHS is a valid, reliable, and practical tool for clinical screening and monitoring. It was further developed in the Little in Norway study and adapted with brief video feedback for parents in home visiting and child health settings.
Perspectives
The ERHS and its adaptations help promote early relational health and equity in today's evolving child and public health systems.
