What is it about?

A basin developed two incredibly different climates. The north is extremely humid, and the south is extremely dry. So there is a clear reflection on the sedimentation. We have contrasted for the first time by a large number of core evidence to ensure the accuracy of quantitative analysis. In the process of studying the differences between the north and the south, we also found that the boundary of climate is changing. It has a strong movement to the south in a short period of time.

Why is it important?

This article explains the phenomenon that the simultaneous development of two extreme climates of arid and humid in an independent basin. And some contributions have been made to the evolution of the paleoclimate boundary.

Perspectives

The study of geology is now more interdisciplinary, and this article can be used as a example for multidisciplinary intersections. And it can give some inspiration to the study of paleoclimate in other typical areas.
