Why is it important?
Brings together researchers to a platform where scientific research is put into an impact context for policymakers and practitioners. This article describes the bold aims and ambitions of the Global Challenges community.
Perspectives
This article describes the aims and ambitions of distinct communities which sometimes struggle to come together to align goals. The idea of this publication, and the journal, is to provide a venue where distinct communities of experts can collaborate and work together to help solve some of the most important issues of our time. This is a unique proposition and an exciting one and builds on the premise that scientists cannot solve such issues alone, but need to work with social scientists, policy makers, practitioners, NGO's, and government.
