Why is it important?

The silent killers are costing your company a considerable amount of money. A major international manufacturer of athletic shoes and sportswear determined that they were 'leaking' over $ 1 Billion a year as a result of the silent killers. Your company may not be that big but you are leaking money at a furious pace none the less.

Perspectives

Modern business thinking and practice is stuck in the industrial era. What we call 'modern management practices' were all invented by people who were born in the 1800's. They were designed to be effective for Henry Ford and his peers as they ushered in the industrial world. Since then we have largely added technology to the same basic practices so that we can now do things that are increasingly irrelevant for todays workforce very quickly. This article provided a different perspective and a look at a different future.
