What is it about?

Sustainable policy performance is achieved when environmental, economic and social aspects are all acknowledged. We look at government characteristics that contribute to such a sustainable performance, especially executive effiviency and government consensus, but also party ideology.

Why is it important?

Our findings show that both, executive efficiency and government consensus, contribute to sustainable policy performance. Thus, we want to highlight the importance of institutional settings and preferences.
