What is it about?
We investigated the physicochemical characteristics, phenolics, and bioactivity (antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities) of oils from six different Mexican avocado genotypes to increase their consumption and utilization.

Why is it important?
Oil fluorescence indicators of chlorophyll concentration and oxidation products was the primary factor differentiating Mexican avocado genotypes
Perspectives
Mexican creole avocado is an important beneficial resource for the diversity of its oil quality compared to the common Hass variety.
