What is it about?
This review collects together the ways in which useful metal complexes can be prepared by researchers who may not be specialists in organometallic chemistry. The complexes prepared are useful catalysts for a number of reactions that are used to prepare chemicals such as pharmaceuticals, pesticides and herbicides, and materials.
Why is it important?
The aim of this review is to bring simple methods for the preparation of important catalysts to the attention of researchers who might not otherwise be aware of them.
