What is it about?

Heart failure induces brain damage and cognitive impairment, which frequently attenuates the effects of treatment. We did this study to clarify whether heart failure patients without cognitive impairment are at risk of developing dementia.

Solution of cognitive impairment can be a new approach for the treatment of heart failure.

Perspectives

This paper is my first step of this theme. I appreciate discussants for providing important opinions at scientific meetings. I hope this paper can raise a question about the relationship between failing heart and impaired brain.
