What is it about?

the transformation processof the hemihydrate to the dihydrate was examined both in pure media and in the presence of tricarballylic acid. The effects of tricarballylic acid on the transformation process and the thermal decomposition behaviour of calcium sulfate dihydrate were investigated by XRD, TGA-FTIR-MS, and SEM analyses. Furthermore, model-free kinetic models, including thoseof Friedman, FWO and KAS were applied to thermal data todetermine the activation energy.
