Why is it important?

Printing, coating, and dyeing methods have been used to tune infrared radiation reflectance of textiles in the NIR region, which are mainly formulated with special pigments. It is relatively easy to print a wide range of textile fiber with the correct visual shades by using the dyes

Perspectives

It can be concluded that adding TiO2 microparticles to the pigment printing formulations is an efficient method for tuning the NIR reflectance behavior of cotton/nylon fabrics
