What is it about?

The effectiveness of chemical and thermal pretreatments on Moringa oleifera pods for the atrazine removal from water was investigated.

Why is it important?

We use a agroindustrial residue in the biosorption experiments and Moringa oleifera pods have great potential for removing atrazine and other organic contaminants from water.

Perspectives

We hope that Moringa oleifera pods, an agroindustrial residue, can be available as a bioadsorbent agent to remove organics pollutants from water.
