What is it about?

It concerns grinding in atube mill operating in closed circuit. The return from a mill classifier is already ground but not enough. There is no need to feed it to the mill inlet, it can be fed to an intermidiate position of the mill. The proposed model allows finding the optimal position for the return feed from the viewpoint of grinding efficiency: mill capacity, or fineness of grinding.

Why is it important?

The mill throughput or fineness of grinding can be improved.

Perspectives

The proposed solution is mainly applicable for vibration mill because it can be easy realized technically.
