What is it about?
This is about a patient with oral cancer treated with manual lymphatic drainage. After surgery she developed swelling and speaking disorders.

Why is it important?
This is important because it could be shown that the MLD treatment, including compression devices could enhance speech and food processing, scar tissue and quality of life improved as well.
Perspectives
While treating this patient I learned to treat the tongue with MLD, which is out of common curriculum and was well accepted by the patient.
