What is it about?
An older patients also suffering from chronic disease conditions like hypertension, obesity and diabetes got infected with COVID 19. He developed shortness of breath and worsening cough two days before presentation to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), Kathmandu. He received convalescent plasma (before 14 days of disease onset) therapy with high titre antibody along with life- saving drugs (dexamethasone and remdesivir). He got fully recovered with the help of quality patient’s care.

Why is it important?
Combination of convalescent plasma therapy and repurposed drugs such as dexamethasone and remdesivir could be beneficial for severe COVID‐19 patients with obesity and chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
Perspectives
Nepali physician team protected the chronic and severe COVID 19 patients by providing quality services in resource poor setting. This publication is useful for all health care providers especially for low and middle income countries. In resource poor setting a severe COVID 19 patients could be saved via combination of quality of cares (clinical, psychological and nursing care) in health setting.
