Boys sindicated they experienced violence more than girls in every category; corporal punishment in school and at home, bullying and sexual abuse.

Perspectives

Care must be taken when analysing research on violence against children that results are not biased towards girls. More research, polcy and programs should be directed specifically to addressing violence including sexual violence against boys
