What is it about?

This study collected data from 14 young people after they had the opportunity to access Method of Levels in school for six months. The study allowed young people to decide if and when to attend sessions as well as choose the topics discussed.

Why is it important?

This work is important because it's the very first study to explore how young people experience Method of Levels (which until recently has only been used with adults). Furthermore, it offers insight into young people's experiences of using a self-booking system to attend counselling.

Perspectives

I hope professionals and researchers interested in the area of mental health support for young people (particularly in schools) will find this article interesting and appreciate the benefits MOL has to offer.
