What is it about?

Pi of the sky is an astronomical project for wide angle observation of the sky. It observes mainly optical counterparts for gamma ray bursts of the whole sky.

Why is it important?

Gamma ray bursts, or GRBs, are cosmic events which observations and measurements brings more understanding on the structure of the galaxies and structure of the universe.

Perspectives

GRBs may be observed in the future in companion with neutrino observatiries and gravitational waves.
