What is it about?
IgG4-related disease is new disease entity characterized by unknown mechanisms. We showed that follicular helper 2 T cells (Tfh2) play an important role with linkage to increased serum levels of IgG4, interleukin-4, and increased numbers of plasmablasts.

Why is it important?
The role of follicular helper 2 T cells in the pathogenesis of IgG4-related disease has not been reported until we have showed in this article.
Perspectives
To elucidate the molecular mechanism of increased follicular helper 2 T cells will lead to the new therapheutic target in IgG4-related disease!
