Fiber reinforced polymer composites (FRPCs) are extensively employed in the construction, automobile, railway, military, power generation, marine, and aeronautic industries, mostly due to their high specific strength, ease of installation, electromagnetic transparency, non-corrodibility, and excellent mechanical properties.

Why is it important?

The objective of the current research work was to fabricate a novel class of hybrid GFRPCs filled with inorganic filler particles by hand lay-up technique followed by compression molding and used for aeronautic industry.
