What is it about?
Wood adhesives have a very important function in the industrial production of wood-based panels. Lignin and tannin are considered a renewable natural resource and is of particular interest in phenolic resins because of its chemical structure, which similar to the phenol group with the same known interactions between phenol and formaldehyde either base or acid catalyst.

The novelty In this work, preparation of green water resistant adhesives by modification of lignin to lignin polyols and combination with polyethylenimine.
Perspectives
From my point of this research is very important and it attaches to the environment and public health of the people. Since the attempt to use renewable resources necessary to reduce the use of fossil oil derivatives.
