What is it about?
Unmodified multi-layer graphene/PA6 nanocomposites were prepared by a commercial route. The thermal and mechanical properties of nanocomposites were observed, and found an obvious improvement on thermal and mechanical properties of nanocomposites with only low content of graphene.

Why is it important?
we used unmodified graphene to prepare graphene/PA6 nanocomposites, which is unlike most of other works that used modified graphene (or through modification process). Though, through the modification process may help the interaction between graphene and polymer matrix, but it has been verified that the process of modification can obviously change the properties of the pure graphene (especially the mechanical properties). Moreover, the modification process is more-pollution, time-wasting, high-cost and unsuitable for industrial production. So, we used the unmodified graphene and obtained the similar enhancement as other works did. Moreover, this work pioneers a simple, efficient and industrially scalable approach to produce graphene/polymer nanocomposites with good dispersion and great enhancement.
