What is it about?
Recycled plastics have a great potential to use as a matrix for wood-based composites. But during the thermal recycling process, some physical and mechanical properties of plastics will change. Generally, the thermal recycling causes decrease the mechanical strength of wood plastic composites. The main decrease occurs in impact strength. Using impact modifier is an excellent choice to enhance impact strength of wood recycled plastic composites.
