Why is it important?

Because it shows that the photovoice method can be used to identify and reduce exposure to workplace hazards. Workers can participate in recognition of hazards and solutions to reduce or eliminate them.

Perspectives

This article expands the use of photovoice to populations that have not yet been included in the range of populations that can benefit from it. It is a participatory method to include rank and file workers in making the workplace safer and healthier.
