Why is it important?

3D printing sacrificial templates for tissue scaffolds is a hot topic, our contribution to the literature is the generation of a novel methodology to print sacrificial templates to impart specific pore structures inside biomaterials. This methodology is broadly applicable to a variety of other technical and biomedical applications.
