Why is it important?

Fibrosis is an important determinant of drug delivery (and thus therapeutic efficacy) in pancreatic cancer, but studying drug delivery in animal tissue is difficult to perform at a large scale. We thus devised a simple 3D co-culture model of pancreatic cancer fibrosis that enables the analysis of drug delivery.
