Why is it important?

Chilean cities face important challenges that threaten the security of resources, particularly water, but also food and energy. Climate change, population growth, economic development, and industrialization are some of the most important factors that have shaped the availability and demand for these resources in Chilean basins. Understanding these relationships allows to improve water security.
