What is it about?

This chapter describes in vitro-in vivo correlations and focuses on drug-drug interactions with CYPs, transporters and nucler receptors. In silico approaches are also described in this area.

Why is it important?

Suggests the importance of in vitro and in silico approaches as a combined effort to predict DDI. It has deep coverage of IVIVC.

Perspectives

I have been honored to collaborate several times with Dr. Bachmann over the years as he has excellent knowledge of IVIVC. Although we put this together several years ago it covers areas still relevant today.
