What is it about?

The whole book is focused on using computers and software for biomedical collaboration with an emphasis on chemistry and drug discovery.

Why is it important?

At the time there were no books on this topic, and still its probably the only one to my knowledge at the time of writing. We also captured perspectives on collaboration such as that of Prof. Victor J. Hruby and the ethics of collaboration by the McGowan brothers.

Perspectives

Putting this book together captured a lot of the areas I was working on at the time and the whole ethos of collaboration. For me this is a snapshot of 2010 when the chapters were submitted. By the time the book came out in 2011 I was on to using mobile apps and beyond.
