What is it about?

Romanticism is discussed as a world view, present in all fields of culture : art, poetry, literature, philosophy, theology, historiography, anthropology, etc. It can be defined as a cultural protest against modern capitalist industrial civilisation, in the name of past values, pre-capitalist social, cultural or moral values. Born in the 18th century, Romanticism is still present today.
