Why is it important?

This study is important for earthquake and seismic hazard since Bhutan Himalayan lies in active tectonic region. This will create to the public and scientists regarding the earthquake and possibly look for policy intervention for preparedness for conscious awareness of the eventualities.

Perspectives

Bhutan has been experiencing earthquakes from time to time, such researches being conducted extensively will add up consciousness to people and draw lessons for future preparedness. Bhutan lacks in research capabilities due to lack of professional and financial capacities. We expect these researches are conducted by the capable scientists for the regional beneficiaries/mankind.
