What is it about?
This paper contains extensive work on numerical simulation to reproduce the characteristics of Very Low Frequency (VLF) signal as recorded in Indian Antarctic Permanent station Maitri. The author used D-layer Ionospheric chemistry model and Long Wavelength Propagation Capability (LWPC). The author successfully reproduced the observed signal variations and also incorporated the effect of Antarctic ice mass on signal strength attenuation.
