What is it about?

This publication guides stakeholders and policy-makers in selecting the most cost-effective and technically feasible site for a large-scale PV power plant. Indeed, the various criteria that might affect the functioning of the plant were considered and analyzed using a multi-criteria decision method: AHP, being the most used data in the field of energy planning, to identify the most advantageous locations through GIS tools.

This work is in line with the country's short- and long-term strategic vision to make ecosystems more sustainable and thus contribute to significant decarbonization through increasing the share of renewables in the energy mix of the country - Morocco.
