Social anxiety is becoming prevalent now a days. We have find out the cognitive factors that played role in its predisposition anr perpetuation. Moreover, our research also highlighted the paranoid tendencies experienced by socially anxious individuals.

Why is it important?
Because of the increasing prevalence of social phobia, it was imperative to determine its predisposing factors. Further, study findings will help in modifying theraputic interventions for the patients.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a source of great pleasure for me, as limited research has been done on patient's experiencing Social Phobia in Pakistan. This article has highlighted the information about the development and course of social anxiety in patient population.
