Why is it important?
This model and prototype help both software developers and knowledge managers to identify and assess the knowledge in requirement elicitation environment.
Perspectives
This research revealed an important contribution to the field of knowledge management (KM) where much of the work is conceptually based. This research also supports understanding and prescription of KA particularity in REP in which a great deal of knowledge is involved. This study proposed a KA model and supporting application that not only identifies the knowledge and its sources in REP as well as the knowledge flow between software developers and client teams but also improves the process of requirement elicitation.
