What is it about?

Trial of labor after Two caesarean section is an option to improve maternal health by decreasing complications. We have shown that the rate of success is high and similar as in developed countries. Less maternal complications have been found.

Why is it important?

Our findings are encouraging and show that this approach can be promoted and used for needed women in limited-resource countries as well.

Perspectives

I hope this article will be interesting, even exciting, for obstetricians and organizations that are improving women's health by medicalizing follow-up to avoid emergency deliveries, as well as their economics due to the cost of cesarean section in a population who are already poor.
