What is it about?
Lubricants are widely used in our daily lives. However, most of petroleum-based lubricants are non-biodegradable which pose a major threat to environment for disposal. Thus, development of plant-based lubricants which are comparable in term of performance is highly sought. In this paper, we developed dimerate ester lubricant derived from plant oil which exhibit excellent low temperature properties.
