What is it about?
Plant characters in potatoes do not respond similarly to water stress of irrigation. A highly diverse panel of potato cultivars revealed traits associated to water stress tolerance and to high yielding environments.

It helps breeders to pick progenitors for their crossings and increase the selection efficiency for water stress, for high yields or for stability of yield
