What is it about?

Both treatments (Unified Protocol and Mentalization Based Therapy) were found to be effective in the short term (up to 2 years) in reducing features of psychopathy and symptoms of antisocial/borderline personality disorder, but in the longer term (3 years) there was a relapse of symptoms.

This study shows that psychopathy and co-morbid antisocial+borderline personality disorders are remediable, at least in the short term, despite traditionally being viewed as untreatable conditions.
