What is it about?
We have shown for the first time that pulse electromagnetic wave can excite acoustic oscillations of biological cell.

Why is it important?
The analyzed question of forced oscillations of a cell makes it possible to explain some mechanisms of electromagnetic waves’ influence on biological objects, particularly low-intensity (nonthermal) electromagnetic waves. For example, it can be one of the causes of a bigger biological effect on a pulse irradiation than on a continuous one.
Perspectives
I hope this article is one of the steps in understanding of living organisms’ functioning
