Biopsychosocial Model of Long COVID

K M Amran Hossain

What is it about?

COVID-19 has had a long-term effect since recovery for nearly 10% of people. The long-haul symptoms have physical, psychological, and social dimensions. My work is focused on finding the multidimensional effect of Long-COVID, predicting factors, and examining the effect of physiotherapy & Rehabilitation on Long COVID.

Why is it important?

Studies suggest Long COVID is associated with noble symptoms that are vulnerable to young adult females. Also, many people developed co-morbid diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease after recovering from COVID. We are looking for long-time disease patterns, predicting factors of these patterns, and the impact of rehabilitation interventions on the sufferers.
