With Africa in the Global Book Trade: Quo Vadis?, I want readers & viewers of my research articles to join the dots and work it out: Is there a bright future for our trade or not? By Promoting (all genres of) Literature by Africans; by showcasing non-fiction and fictional afrolit moving us forward through (often homegrown) argument and debate, expanding us through a novel's form, its plot lines and dialogue or a play's themes, I seek to showcase not only Africa producing knowledge for her nourishment, entertainment and growth, but her thought leadership.
