About my research

My research focuses on optical wireless communications (OWC) and next-generation non-terrestrial networks (NTNs), including free-space optical (FSO), visible light communication (VLC), underwater optical, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), high-altitude platform station (HAPS), and satellite communications. I develop channel models and communication techniques addressing atmospheric attenuation, turbulence, pointing errors, and mobility. My work also explores multi-layer airborne networks, sustainable communications, physical-layer security, and machine-learning-assisted systems, aiming to enable reliable, high-capacity, energy-efficient connectivity for future sixth-generation (6G) terrestrial, airborne, maritime, and space networks.
