About my research

I am interested in early modern book history and the transfer of ideas from the British Isles to and from Poland-Lithuania, and have published around 30 articles to date on that. My work has mostly centred on the study of printed works, manuscript marginalia and translations as documents understanding reception, accommodation and promotion of ideas. Cultural gravity, what feeds and sustains it but also what challenges the so-called established centres of culture in the form of contested and marginal voices, and how those stories are disseminated through networks, print and manuscript are also topics which has inspired my recent research.
