Terms of music genres and subgenres are very important part of music-related identity practices. They are explored by methods of corpus linguistics and sociolinguistics in this research.

This is the first research which focuses to Hungarian rock/metal discourse community.
Perspectives
I hope my article will motivates other linguist all over the world to make researches about rock/metal discourse community of them country and we will compare the results of our researches.
