What is it about?
Mental health providers have a duty to understand LGBTQ+ stigma and health disparities as well as engage, practice, and deliver affirming care in order to provide equitable services to their LGBTQ+ patients and clients. An online, on-demand, free, publicly accessible LGBTQ+ mental health training is available and can improve providers’ preparedness, attitudes, and knowledge in caring for LGBTQ+ patients and clients.
