What is it about?

This paper describes a post graduate training program for psychiatric nurse practitioners providing care to underserved communities. The clinical and psychosocial needs of this population is complex and can be overwhelming for new graduates. This program serves as a way to help meet the nation's increasing mental health needs while supporting early career nurse practitioners as they transition into clinical practice.
