What is it about?
We studied mobile phone use in a population of patients with serious mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. These patients were at a community mental health center and the Department of Veterans Affairs. We found that these individuals are often using smartphones and that we should be using smartphones and related digital health technologies to improve their mental health care.
