What is it about?
bvFTD is a form of dementia characterized by antisocial behaviors, but there are no clinically validated measures to assess these behaviors in dementia patients. Using a novel informant-based questionnaire, antisocial behaviors were found to be more common and more severe in bvFTD compared with other dementias. Analyses suggested separate factors for aggressive and nonaggressive behaviors. Preliminary findings provide support for a new informant-based questionnaire to measure the presence and severity of antisocial behavior in dementia patients.
